There is a Redeemer,
Jesus, God’s own son,
Precious lamb of God, Messiah,
Holy one,

Jesus my Redeemer,
Name above all names,
Precious lamb of God, Messiah,
Oh, for sinners slain.

Thank you oh my Father,
For giving us your Son,
And leaving your Spirit,
til the work on earth is done.

When I stand in glory,
I will see His face,
And there Ill serve my King forever,
In that holy place.

Russian Easter Greeting

 

 Христос Воскрес! Воистину Воскрес! (Christos Voskres! Voistinu Voskres!)

Христос Воскрес! Воистину Воскрес! (Christos Voskres! Voistinu Voskres!)

Христос Воскрес! Воистину Воскрес! (Christos Voskres! Voistinu Voskres!)

Translation:

 Christ is Risen!  He is Risen Indeed!

 Christ is Risen!  He is Risen Indeed!

 Christ is Risen!  He is Risen Indeed!

 

This is the greeting I grew up with at our Russian Baptist Church.  I always wanted to be the one to say the Христос Воскрес! part because the Воистину Воскрес! part was so hard for me to say!
