Thursday Photo Challenge – Thankful
WFMW – Snack Organization
My SIL has 4 kids and is a home schooler. We went to visit them this weekend and because our flight home was not until Monday late afternoon, we were able to observe home school in action. One of the things my SIL does to control the “I need a snack” interruptions is to be prepared in advance. Here’s what she does:
She takes a muffin tin and sets out a row of snacks the kids are allowed to have during home school. They must finish their row before the day is over and before they can move to any “other” kind of snack! This way she knows that they have had some fruits and veggies during the day! It worked for her – I am sure it could work for those who don’t home school as well! As a matter of fact, I should do this at work
