So the next event of the weekend was my MIL Joan’s birthday. We had a wonderful buffet lunch on Sunday at the Foxfire Restaurant. Here are some pics of the event!
Debbie – Steve’s sister and Ted her hubby were there with their girls so, of course, I took pictures of Steve with his sister and of the girls as promised!

Joan’s Birthday!
Jackson’s Birthday
We had a super busy weekend down in California! One of the events was my great nephew Jackson’s third birthday which we celebrated on Saturday.
First of all, Jackson is a HUGE “Cars” fan!
So naturally the theme of his 3rd birthday was “Cars”! My niece Michelle (Jackson’s mommy) made a fabulous cake that looked like a race track in the shape of the number 3 – girl’s got skills!!
Jackson was fascinated with the cars on his cake and wanted to lick the frosting off the cars!
He got lots of presents – the best part - he has enough cash to buy a Disney Annual Pass!
Beside the cars – he really liked his new crayons and “Cars” coloring book as well as his new very own flashlight!
What’s a birthday party without scrumptious goodies to enjoy!
Then of course there’s the fellowship and catching up on each other’s lives!
It’s rare that all four sisters are at the same event together. So on those rare occassions, a picture is a must.
