Continuing in the spirit of “being interested in people”, I would like to know, or see, what’s on, in or under your bedside table! So open those draws and bare your soul to us! Is there anything special there that has a story or a memory that you can tell us about? Books that you keep there to delve into from time to time? Trinkets that you don’t know where else to put? Since I am down in California for this Fun Monday, I will show you my Huntington Beach nightstand:
I love to read so my nightstand is basically a place for books and my Bible! Of course I also enjoy listening to classical music when I read or just to relax before I go to bed so I have my Ipod plugged in and ready to play. That’s the little remote to turn on the player.
I also have hand lotion and foot lotion on the bottom shelf. I get really dry skin especially in the winter. There’s some chapstick hanging around on one of the shelves as well. Oh yeah and plenty of pens, pencils a nail file or two and highlighters. Lastly, the blasted alarm clock, which is on the bottom shelf so I really have to reach to turn it off – basically throwing me out of bed!

The clock on the bottom shelf is a great idea and chiropractors love it when you throw yourself out of bed. Is it 5:45 AM OR PM?
I LOVE your night stand. It looks like a really nice antique. I love stand alone unique furniture. Beautiful.
i used to have my alarm clock across the room in college, lest i turn it off and go back to sleep. i had to get up, walk across the room, and turn it off. that helped some… especially on like 4 hours of sleep..
So neat and tidy and I love the beautiful lamp on the nightstand!
I finally had to give the alarm clock to my husband! I just turned that sucker off. Very, very pretty table. I like the mat under your lamp – very vintage.
Really admire your beside table with its marble(?)top. Sounds like you have the drill down for enjoying those breif minutes before sleep.

Sure are a lot of books beside beds this Fun Monday. You have nice places to store them…and I do hope that 5:45 is pm, not am. My alarm goes off at 5:45am…and I sure wouldn’t want to take any pictures that early in the morning.
Your lamp gives off a lovely glow! I’m so glad I don’t have to worry about an alarm clock any longer!!

What a gorgeous bedside table. I love the figure – it looks like one of a series that I’ve seen over here in England, do you have others like it?
