Know & Tell Friday   9 comments

Questions for this week:

1. Who do you wish you could meet?
Joseph from the Old Testament as well as Ruth!  Both have intrigued me and I would like to ask them a few questions!

2. Best food comes from which country? Russia of course!  (I’m Russian!)

3. If you are familiar with the movie/musical “Grease”, what girl character would you be (let’s apply this lightly…I know some of the behaviors of the girls was not too nice).  I think it would have been fun to play the “Beauty School Drop Out” or Principal McGee – Hmmm a real toss up!

4. Would you be more likely to toilet paper someone’s house, or would you be the one that has their house toilet papered? Being that I have been involved on both sides of these adventures, I would rather paper someone’s house!  The clean up is just not very fun!

5. Do you like small talk, or deep conversations? Both but mostly deep conversations.

Bonus Questions
6. Who do you most want to encourage this year? My nieces!  I want them to be able to look at my life and be able to say that I love Jesus and they want to love him just as much as I do.  I want them to learn from my mistakes and to enjoy a rich Christian heritage.

7. If those who know you best gave you one piece of advice, what would they say? Would they be right? What will you do about it?  They would say to hold your tongue!  Don’t be so quick to respond.  Wait and think of an appropriate response in a nice tone!  (I get a little snappy when someone irritates me – especially sales people on the phone!)

Yes they would be right!

I am trying really hard on this one!  I react and respond too often without stopping and thinking about the better or best response.

Show & Tell – Valentine Table 2   31 comments

For Show & Tell Friday this week, I would like to share my Valentine tea table with you!  I found these fun heart shaped tea cups at good will and could not resist. I love heart shaped anything!  The tea cups did not have saucers that went with them. These are candle plates that I picked up at Fred Meyer during Christmas and I think they match pretty well!
