  1. I’ve got to get Dear to order me the Bird in the Tree! I guess I’ll be reading the Heart of the Family first. I’ve really enjoyed the Cottage Tales, I hope the next one comes out soon. I’ve got some Chesterton on my list this time around too…

  2. Oh ~ and I’m glad you listed the Shack under fiction :0)

  3. Love the pictures! And your list looks very good, too. We’re going through Swindoll’s “Great Days w/ the Great Lives” for our family devotions right now and really enjoying it.

Thanks for being part of the challenge!

  4. I know what you mean about your list subject to change as you read other’s lists. I get so many of my reading ideas from others lists. Yours looks great. I love Charles Swindoll’s books. Haven’t read this one though.

  5. I know what you mean about lists changing after getting ideas from others. I have a whole lone TBR list gleaned from previous reading challenges.

I know of Wendy! We used to be on a Christian message board and I heard she had written a book. I’ll have to check it out.

  6. One of these days I will get around to reading Chesterton. Another one to put on my wish list.

    Have fun reading!

  7. I read The Shack recently and would definitely recommend it. I’ve read several of Swindoll’s books written on Biblical characters, but not the one on Jesus. I’m sure it’s excellent, because the others were. I especially enjoyed the one on Esther.

  8. I saw the word “books” and I had to come down. I love reading. John Eldredge is wonderful. One book in particular on your list caught my eye as I have never heard of it ~ The Cottage Tales of Beatrix Potter series by Susan Wittig Albert ~ . I’m off to check this one out and look up some more books from your link as well. Perhaps I can add some books to my fall reading list (which I didn’t make official or public). I have bookmarked your blog for future readings too.

  9. I have heard such great things about The Shack. I hope I can get that into my pile soon. The Cottage Tales of Beatrix Potter series looks very interesting!

  10. I love the pictures of your books! Good luck on your reading journey. I look forward to reading your reviews!

Feel free to stop by my blog and leave a comment or two. 😀

  11. I really want to read The Shack, but I am scared.

    Please post a review!

    Happy Reading
