It’s Monday and time for another Metamorphosis Monday. Today I am going to show you my no cost Guest Room makeover. Here’s the Before shot…
Nothing like accentuating your white walls! I do plan on painting this summer but until then I really needed to perk up this drab room! So, here’s the After…
I used a sheet I had picked up at the Goodwill as a new bed spread and covered the head board with a curtain sheer. I had the pillow shams from a previous purchase. The decorative pillow I had in another room. I moved some pictures from other rooms in the house and then used the rose vine to accentuate the picture – not my drab walls!
This little makeover took an hour to do and I used items I already had to do it. My guest room went from drab to not so drab. I am really looking forward to painting this summer! For more Met Monday posts, head on over to Susan’s!
Isn’t it amazing what can be done in an hour! I am impressed
Very creative! It looks completely different, great job.
Hey Lana, can I stay in your guest room. I know you are a great hostess and set a beautiful table. I would even stay there before you paint!
Lana…you really warmed it up…love it! Very creative and a complete change…great MM post! Susan
What a change! Looks great and even better to have done it at no cost….Christine
Just lovely! I loved the little bird print in your first picture though.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia 🙂
I really like the new look. I was wondering how you changed that headboard and of course you told us. It really looks great with that sheer…
Very creative. It’s amazing what you can do with no $$$$ and an hour. I like what you did with the headboard. Can’t wait to see the room painted.
Looks great! I love what you did with the headboard.

Great “use what you have” makeover!
In less than an hour huh? Great job! *running off to see what I can get done in my guest room in an hour*
Great no cost redo, the bedding change alone added so much.
