Today is my twin brother’s birthday!

 Oh boy, I guess that would mean it’s my birthday too!   I’m going to Disneyland to celebrate!

 

While in Alaska, we saw glimpses of the Alaska pipeline here and there in the distance.

You would see it way off  up in the hills and then it would disappear and you would not see it again for miles and miles. 

On our way down to check out Valdez, Alaska, we saw it right near us on the side of the road.  It was so close that we decided we would try to find a way to get as close to the pipeline as we could.

Yeah, I’d say this is pretty close!

I was able to go to the Newport Beach Breakers tennis match this past Wednesday to watch some tennis on a beautiful evening in Newport Beach, California. The marquee player at this match was Maria Sharipova!  Everyone was waiting to see the special guest of honor.

 

 

Since she was the featured pro that evening,  all the photographers (including me!) were focused on getting as many action shots of her as possible.  It was so funny to hear all the cameras in burst shooting mode clicking in rapid succession!  Here are some action shots…
