Today we went to the Mariners/Rockies game at the Peoria Sports Complex in Peoria, Arizona. What a perfect sunny day for a baseball game! It was 82 degrees and breezy so it was really comfortable sitting out in the sun. Hubby picked really good seats!
When you go to a Spring Training game, you want to get there early and this is why…
You get to see the players up close as they arrive on the field and you might even get an autograph or two!
The Mariners always draw a great crowd. Today there were 11,454 people at the game.
Ichiro hit a home run and best of all the Mariners beat the Rockies 9 to 4!!
Tomorrow we’re going to the Angels vs the Diamondbacks game. That should be a fun game too!
Good Night for Now!

Phoenix – Spring Training – YIPPEE! 2 comments
Leaving for Phoenix tonight to go enjoy a weekend of Baseball! Spring training is the best! You get to see the major league players in a minor league setting. Baseball season officially starts at the end of this month. I love this time of year.
Here’s a picture from Spring Training last year when we went to see the Mariners and the Angels play.
Take me out to the ball park…

Go Hawks!
UPDATE: 😦 So Sad – They lost 42 to 20. Oh well!
A Night at the Ballpark 5 comments
I went to the Angels/Mariners baseball game on Friday Night with my sister Kathy and my nieces Debbee and Melissa! It was a great game! Mariners won 6-0 – Sorry girls! I had on a Mariners hat and an Angels sweatshirt – just call me a confused fan! We stayed for the Big Bang Friday Firework Show and because Jarrod Washburn was pitching and doing very well, it was a pretty quick game! No worries Angels fans, the Angels will clinch the division soon. The Mariners just wanted you to work real hard to get there!
UW vs Boise State 4 comments
Steve and I had the privilege of going to the UW vs Boise State game today at the Husky Stadium. These were not your ordinary tickets. So first we drove into Seattle with the rest of the Husky and Bronco fans but we didn’t have to drive straight to the stadium and look for a parking spot:
Our tickets included brunch at McCormick and Schmick’s and a water cruise to the Husky Stadium!
We arrived at the stadium and oh my, what an experience to arrive from the water. There were all sorts of boats and people having stern parties and fans everywhere! The pre-game festivities were great.
We enjoyed the game seated 10 rows up from the field at the 40 yard line! The Huskies beat Boise State 24 to 10! Here are some game highlights:
We then returned on the water cruise back to the restaurant. The weather was glorious today! Of course I only took 248 pictures!
Did I mention that the weather was glorious and that the Huskies won? Go Dawgs!
