Just Ducky! – A Sunday Walk   2 comments

Scroll Down for My Fun Monday Post

I had to run some errands on Sunday afternoon and decided to stop and take a walk along the Juanita Bay.  What better way to spend a Sunday afternoon! I have passed this area too many times during the 7 years we have lived here and not once have I been down this path!  Ahh, but then I started blogging.  And now, I stop everywhere I can.  I hardly ever leave the house now without my camera.  I even have a car charger for it! Here are some pictures from my walk yesterday…

As you can see, we are having some beautiful weather and this morning is another gorgeous one!  I looked up the information on the internet for Juanita Bay Park and realized I did not even scratch the surface of this park yesterday! I have the day off today, so off I go to explore the park and take some more pictures!

Romans 1:20For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities-his eternal power and divine nature-have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.

Be back later to share my day with you!

Wildflowers in Winter – Literary Flowers   7 comments

This week’s theme is: Week 3 – January 30 – February 5. Literary Wildflowers – Stories, quotations or poetry about wildflowers written by you or someone else. Or write a book review about a book that features wildflowers, such a guide book, picture book, travel guide or something about wildflower gardening, etc. Or Write about some special places/trails/areas to go searching for wildflowers that you are familiar with. Tell about the best time of year to go there, and what you might see. Share photographs if you have them.

Song to the Creator
By Lana G!

Walking up the path to the crest of the hill
I came upon a sacred breathtaking scene.
An Artist had left a masterpiece in living color –
A hillside bursting forth with joyful, vivid blooms.
Hundreds of wildflowers gracefully swaying in the breeze
Were reaching out to touch their Maker’s face.
Each one reflecting His beauty in radiant splendor
They were seeking only to glorify Him in shameless praise.
My heart could not keep silent.
I joined the earthly chorus
We were singing Hallelujah to our Creator
We were singing Holy, Holy is His name.

Wildflowers in Winter – Week 2   9 comments

The theme for this week!

January 23 – 29. Wildflowers in Winter, a winter image of a flower in your area.

Since I flew down to Southern California yesterday, I decided to find a winter flower to take a picture of while I was down south.  I went for a walk in the afternoon for a break from my work day and this is what I found:

A popular winter flower in So Cal!  Even the bees think so!
