I was able to go to the Newport Beach Breakers tennis match this past Wednesday to watch some tennis on a beautiful evening in Newport Beach, California. The marquee player at this match was Maria Sharipova!  Everyone was waiting to see the special guest of honor.

 

 

Since she was the featured pro that evening,  all the photographers (including me!) were focused on getting as many action shots of her as possible.  It was so funny to hear all the cameras in burst shooting mode clicking in rapid succession!  Here are some action shots…

Went to my very first tennis match this evening in Newport Beach.  It was a World Team Tennis event – The Newport Beach Breakers were hosting the New York Sportimes.  John McEnroe was playing on the New York team.  We were there with a sponsor and were able to meet John McEnroe and take pictures with him.  Had a great time!!
